Analysis overview
Analysis provides a project-wide view of how visitors use your website. Unlike experiment results, which measure visitors assigned to a specific experiment, Analyze collects traffic and behavior data across the selected project.
Use Analysis to understand:
- How many visitors and sessions your website receives.
- Which devices, countries, and traffic sources visitors use.
- How visitors move between pages.
- Where clicks, errors, performance issues, and other friction occur.
- Which improvements may be worth testing next.
The Analysis overview combines this information into configurable dashboard cards, a generated CRO hypotheses report, and an AI chat for asking questions about the project data.
Before data appears
Analysis needs all of the following:
- Analysis is enabled in the project settings.
- The Lyftio project snippet is installed on the website.
- At least one visitor session has been collected after Analysis was enabled.
You do not need to install a second snippet. When Analysis is enabled, the existing Lyftio script loads an additional analysis module on normal website visits. Data collection starts from that point forward; it cannot recreate visits that occurred before activation.
If consent is required by the project's consent mode, the analysis module waits for analytics consent before it loads.

An Analysis is useful before, during, and after experimentation. It can help you discover opportunities before creating a test and provide broader context when evaluating experiment ideas.
