Data collected by Analysis

When Analysis is enabled, Lyftio collects information about how visitors use your website. This gives you a project-wide view of traffic, visitor behavior, and potential areas for improvement.

If your project requires analytics consent, collection starts only after that consent has been granted.

What is collected

Analysis may collect the following types of information:

  • Visits and page journeys, including which pages are viewed and how visitors move through the website.
  • General visitor information, such as device type, country, traffic source, and whether a visitor is new or returning.
  • Click behavior, including which elements visitors interact with and signals that may indicate frustration, such as repeated or unresponsive clicks.
  • Technical issues, such as website errors or resources that fail to load.
  • Website performance, including loading speed, responsiveness, and visual stability.

This information is used in the Analysis overview to show visitor trends, traffic sources, page journeys, and potential optimization opportunities.

Visitors and sessions

Lyftio uses anonymous visitor and session identifiers to understand how visits relate to one another. Their storage follows the project's configured client storage location.
