AI-Powered Element Changes
We’re excited to introduce a new AI-powered feature that allows you to prompt changes to elements directly in the Visual Editor.
This feature lets you request style or content changes that aren’t available as standard options in the editor. The AI will interpret your prompt and apply the change using the Visual Editor’s operations, creating custom CSS, JavaScript, or HTML insertions for the target element.
How It Works
-
Select an element in the Visual Editor.
-
Use the AI prompt to describe the change you want, such as:
- Styling changes (e.g., “make this button gradient blue with rounded corners”)
- Content insertion (e.g., “add a small promotional banner below this section”)
- Behavior modifications via JavaScript
-
The AI applies the requested change as a custom operation, using:
- Style changes: CSS applied to the element
- JavaScript changes: dynamic behaviors added to the element
- HTML insertions: new content added using the insert operation
All changes are visible and editable in the Visual Editor, allowing you to tweak or remove them as needed.
Benefits of AI-Powered Element Changes
- Expand your creative possibilities beyond standard editor settings
- Rapidly prototype custom designs or behaviors without manual coding
- Keep full control: every AI-generated change can be inspected and edited
- Combine AI and Visual Editor workflows for faster experimentation
Example Use Cases
- Add custom hover effects or animations that aren’t available in the default settings
- Insert promotional banners, tooltips, or notifications directly via a prompt
- Apply dynamic JavaScript behaviors to elements without writing code manually
See and Edit AI Changes
Every change generated by your prompt is stored as a custom operation. You can:
- View the CSS or JS modifications applied to an element
- Adjust or remove the AI-generated change if needed
- Combine AI-generated operations with manual edits for full flexibility
The AI-powered element change feature brings the power of creative prompts into the Visual Editor while keeping you in full control of your experiments, styles, and content.
