Verify experiment

Before launching your experiment, it’s important to thoroughly test it using the Preview function. Preview gives you a safe environment to confirm that everything works as expected before exposing real visitors to your changes.

The Preview shows your experiment exactly as it will appear to visitors once launched (with the exception of the preview bar and goal notifications). When you open a Preview, parameters are automatically added to the URL. This URL can be shared and opened on any device or browser, even without being logged in to Lyftio.

With Preview you can:

• Verify design and functionality – Make sure your variation changes look correct and work properly across different devices and browsers.
• Test your Audience – Navigate through your site and confirm that Audience evaluates to true where the experiment should run and false where it should not. Read more
