What are templates

Templates let you save audience and goal configurations so they can be reused in other experiments. Instead of rebuilding the same set of conditions every time, you can save them once and load them whenever you need them again.

There are two types of templates in Lyftio:

  • Audience templates – reuse the conditions that define who should be included in an experiment and where the experiment should run.
  • Goal templates – reuse the conditions that define when a conversion should be tracked.

Audience templates

Audience templates are used when you want to reuse the same audience setup across multiple experiments. For example, you might have a common audience for visitors on a specific product category, visitors from a certain campaign, or visitors using a specific device type.

When you save an audience as a template, Lyftio saves all conditions currently set in that audience. You can rename the template if needed and optionally add a description to explain when it should be used.

Goal templates

Goal templates are used when you want to reuse the same goal setup across multiple experiments. For example, you might have a standard goal for clicks on an add-to-cart button, visits to a checkout page, or completed purchases.

When you save a goal as a template, Lyftio saves all conditions currently set in that goal. You can rename the template if needed and optionally add a description to make the template easier to recognize later.
